HALIFAX, Nova Scotia - Rick Nash and Dan Boyle scored first-period goals, and Canada defeated the United States 3-1 Wednesday night in a tuneup for the world hockey championships.
The world hockey championships run from April 30-May 15 at Innsbruck and Vienna.
