hippy report from reggie roby...

reggie went to see widespread panic last week and it sort of freaked him out a little bit, but in a good way (i think). i even caught him noodling to himself in a sandtrap on the golf course this weekend (sicky!) so instead of the upper east side report we get the hippy report. too bad a-game is in asia, because this is right in her wheel house. enjoy:

As some of you know, Spring has turned me back into that Fourth Form hippy from back in the day. It all began with the WSP (Sick band) show at Radio City Music Hall (Sick venue) Here is the set list:

1: Radio Child, Little Kin, 1 x 1 > I'm Not Alone, Nicotina, Sleeping Man, Papa's Home, One Arm Steve, Proving Ground, Action Man
2: Love And Happiness, Pickin' Up The Pieces, Nebulous, Holden Oversoul, Low Spark Of High Heeled Boys > Ride Me High > Tie Your Shoes > Low Spark Of High Heeled Boys, Greta > Conrad
E: Down, No Sugar Tonight/New Mother Nature

I was super impressed with George McConnell on lead Guitar. I also like his song Nicotina, sick little jam that you can really
boogie to! Don't get me wrong, nobody will ever replace Houser, but Georgy did a rockin' job. Loved the Low Spark and One Arme Steve .

Although I love
hipping out in the spring. I was bummed that my easy following vibe did not translate to a good golf game this weekend. I pretty much shat the bed out there posting three triple digit scores . The deeky was nice to soothe me on the ride home with sando's and a 14:00 minute Estimated Prophet, SICK! I actually noticed that the whole Car seemed to mellow out and enjoy the song.

Here is my buddy list from the Show
Jimbo, Tucker B, Lindsay, Sharky Shark, Mat McKean, Ortega, Bee Reeves, Heather Haas, Patty, Emily, Johnny Sarts, etc.

Keep on truckin'
See you on
Summer Tour!

Well done Reggie. My favorite part was the "buddy list" a term I was not down with even in my longhaired days. Overall the typos added to the realism. Great set list bro, similar to the Redrocks show from earlier in the spring.

Right now I am just looking to get out of this office and go play devil sticks in central park. IN the meanwhile, I'm noodling in my mind.....

I don't really understand this post... Either all this traveling has damaged my hippie language skills, or I run in a different, non-WSP circle of hippies who don't play golf. Still, an educational report, I like that Jarobi has such a varied worldview. K-dog and I are currently obsessed with noodle jokes, they're huge in Bali.-- a-game
