JUPITER, Fla. (AP) -- The ping of the bat startled Dontrelle Willis at least once. Then he became accustomed to the sound, which he heard a lot Tuesday against the Miami Hurricanes.

Swinging aluminum, the Hurricanes routed Willis for six runs in 2 1-3 innings and beat the Florida Marlins 9-7.
