what the f?

according to this awesome site the name fred was the 19th most popular name in the 1900's and has gone into a freefall ever since. currently it is not even in the top 1000. the name frederick (which is actually fredeeky's given name) peaked at 56 in the 1910's and was 460th in 2003. what gives? i guess at the end of the day i am pleased to be among an elite cadre of freds. there are not that many of us, but we are proud of our heritage and we wield a disproportionate amount of power. bow before us. freds of the world unite.
