Chaiyya Chaiyya...

first of all let me say that spike lee's new movie is a vastly entertaining bank heist picture. lots of good new york shots in it particularly the opening credits which is basically shots of driving from coney island to lower manhattan to the tune of indian hip-hop, which is something i have always had a weak spot for. from erick sermon and method man's react to nas' charlies' angels (the flyest) and timbaland and magoo's indian flute, i like em all. punjabi mc who did that song with jay-z a couple of years ago has a hand in this particular song, called Chaiyya Chaiyya and i spent some time yesterday afternoon looking for it on the internets. then today the morning news comes up with the video, which is only incredible. it takes place on the top of a train coursing through india and i love it the most. enjoy.
