The 24-year-old Colombian has become ''¡Un Fenómeno!'' -- so dubbed by one of his homeland's largest newspapers after finishing behind only Tiger Woods at last week's Ford Championship at Doral.

Golf fans, countrymen and fellow tour pros alike have taken notice of his fusion of talent and GQ looks, stamping the young golfer as a poster boy for the circuit's next generation.

At Doral's Blue Monster, the largely Hispanic multitude that crowded the ropes for a glimpse at the 24-year-old heartthrob was larger than that following any other golfer except Woods.
