but, of course, it was incredible on many levels. i love r. kelly
the most and know all the words to "i believe i can fly". i am actually singing/gesticulating wildly along with it right now. anyway, for r. kelly to sing the national anthem at the taylor/hopkins fight in vegas is, in and of itself, hilarious. of course his 'fit was tight (as was his voice), but he brought out step dancers to accompany him and take the whole thing to another level. then, as if the steppers weren't enough, he began leading the crowd in some sort of rythmic clapping during the anthem, which is surely controversial, yet positively ingenious. wish i could watch the whole thing. someday i am going to sit through his five part urban-opera out of respect.
