little birdie? thoughts comments?
THE artwork shortlisted for this year's Turner Prize was unveiled yesterday - including a painting of a giant yellow bum.
The picture is part of series called Bum Paintings by favourite Gillian Carnegie.
Her exhibition, tipped to win the £25,000 prize in December, also includes Black Square, from a collection cleverly dubbed Black Square Paintings.
But Fleurs d'Huile, her picture of flowers in a vase, isn't nearly strange enough. How could she have made the shortlist of a contest that's only there to shock?
Where are the pickled sharks, unmade beds and elephant dung landscapes?
