thank god for roids....

also can't believe wickman leads the a.l. in saves. i sort of love that guy.



They did it with home runs, the best way they know. With one out in the ninth, Alex Rodriguez crushed a game-tying shot into the left-field bleachers off the Cleveland Indians' Bob Wickman. With two outs, Jason Giambi connected for his second homer, just over the fence in right center.

That gave the Yankees a sudden 4-3 lead, with all of their runs coming on bases-empty homers. They won by that score when Mariano Rivera converted his 27th save opportunity in a row in the ninth inning.

Tough last game, but great series. Bob "old milwaukee" Wickman couldn't handle your juicy lineup. Should be a nice last coupla months.
