was getting a little worried that he was focusing to much on the law and not enough on the hipster lifestyle. luckily that's not the case.
Wolf Parade. These guys are going to dominate. I have never really seen so much hype surrounding one band, but in an age where The Arcade Fire, CYHSY and other 'indie' rock bands are garnering so much attention, watch out. Montreal is like Seattle circa 1992. Anyone with a guitar can get a record deal. That said, these guys are the real deal. They have already played several sold out shows in NYC (opening for Modest Mouse at Webster, Pianos a few months ago) and will sell out every time they come through. Anyway, the self-titled EP is worth picking up.

ne of the pioneers of the game that's fallen on hard times. Despite an occasional resurgence, pretty much impossible for them to compete on the same level anymore, not that anyone expects them to. Always a welcome appearance on your TV, and no one in their right mind would diss them in public.
