It has been reported today by Brand Republic that the fast food giant is bribing rap artists to mention Big Macs in their lyrics for their tracks in a bid to attract more customers.

The deal is that Macca D’s will not pay anything upfront to any obliging rappers but will pay between $1 and $5 every time the track receives radio airplay.

McDonalds will have the final approval on any tracks featuring the ‘Big Mac’ phrase and it is hoped that by the summer several ‘Big Mac’ tracks will have been released.
