weekly cricket update...

Irfan Pathan dominated with the new ball, while Anil Kumble took his 400th Test wicket after tea. However, a late charge from Michael Clarke gave Australia the edge in the day. So is Clarke a Test duck to water?

The stylish NSW right-hander batted with the swagger of a seasoned Test cricketer. He was sure in his stroke play and missed no opportunity to attack off-spinners Harbhajan Singh and Virender Sehwag in particular.

Clarke nonchalantly brought up his half-century off 100 balls. He moved on to 76 not when stumps was called.
