high life checking in with the hipster report...

Not a lot of great new stuff these days, but this is an abbreviated recent playlist of mine:

1. Broadway - Television (everyone should own Marquee Moon)
2. Looking for a Love - Neil Young (one of my all time favorite songs)
3. What Katie Did - The Libertines (Oasis are to the Beatles as the
Libertines are to ____)
4. Dredder Locks - Lee "Scratch" Perry (speaks for himself)
5. Out of Gas - Modest Mouse (in case anyone didn't know, I like these guys)
6. First of the Gang To Die - Morrissey (probably his best song since the smiths)
7. Three Days, Four Nights - Castanets (san diego alt-country. good stuff.)
8. Age of Consent - New Order (they used to be so cool)
9. Judgement - Andrew Hill (thanks to Eddie J. for this recommendation)
10. Cat's Blues - Palace - (he used to be so cool)
11. The Classical - The Fall ("There's No Culture!")
12. Shout at the Devil - Motley Crue (perfect example of a why drinking and itunes don't mix)
13. Give it a Day - Pavement (any song that can work Increase Mather into the lyrics has to be good, right?)
14. You're a Big Girl Now - Dylan (duh)
