It's going to be a lousy weekend, so as Fedeeky has pointed out in the past,download away or find a nice bar with a good jukebox (or start reading upfor your Fantasy drafts).
Album - Fiery Furnaces' Blueberry Boat - twelve minute songs/stories aboutlost dogs, pirates, and shipments of blueberries. One of the most originalalbums to get any ink this year. And yes, they are "from" Brooklyn (viaChicago).
Song - Modest Mouse - "Broke" off the b-sides/singles compilation "BuildingNothing Out of Something." These guys are finally getting their due, forbetter or worse. This closed their show Sunday night at the HammersteinBallroom in midtown. It rocked. Hard.
