living the high life in brooklyn...

our first entry from our hipster in residence (he lives in brooklyn, no big whoop). it's gonna be crappy this weekend so download away:

Loretta Lynn's "Miss Being a Mrs. Tonight" - from her Jack White produced "Van Lear Rose".  Heartbreak at its finest.

Wilco's "Kicking Television" - Itunes scam, album only crap.  Worth tracking down on P2P.  Throw back to The Stooges, MC5, and, um, Television.

And one from the Vault - The Cars self-titled debut (1978). From the opening lines of "Let the Good Times Roll" through "You're All I've Got Tonight"this is New Wave at its finest.  Julian Casablancas has nothing on Ric Ocasek. Easy to find on CD, but I would recommend tracking down the vinyl.  Your older sister probably has it stashed at your parents' place.

we all know that barry beck is our hocky guru, but maybe andre the giant can offer some dating tips?

hunt-hunt and more hunt...the name of the game is to stay focused. true gaming is all about true focus... no distractions such as yelling SHOT at the top of your lungs.
